The Los Angeles Lakers needed to win against the Houston Rockets in every way because they were on a three-game losing run.
Even though it was the second game of a back-to-back, the Lakers needed the victory to regain momentum because-
LeBron James produced with a great scoring performance to help Los Angeles win knowing what was at risk.
James has been on a run ever since he turned 38, and he exploited a weak Rockets defence to great effect.
The King was successful offensively with drives to the rim, mid-range jump jumpers,
and even the deep bombs that he has been having trouble with all season.
James would end the game with a season-high 48 points on an effective 16 of 26 shooting, including a remarkable 5-of-10 from beyond the arc
